Codea for Children Aged 8 to 12

Students Go on a Mission
Our first platform is Codea, specially developed for children aged 8 to 12. As Codarians, they embark on exciting missions to guide character Mira and dog Echo from point A to point B. The evil AI — called NULL — continuously makes the challenges more difficult, encouraging children to use their creativity and problem-solving skills to come up with new tactics every time.
Developing Skills
Through play, children develop various competencies that contribute to building essential digital skills and align with digital literacy learning goals. This includes learning code, programming, gathering information, and organizing that information into logical steps toward a solution (computational thinking).
Simple and Effective
The platform is designed to be user-friendly and clear for teachers, while the drag-and-drop functionality allows students to quickly take their first steps. We know that developing digital skills is also connected to language and math abilities. To ensure every child can start as effectively as possible, we adapted our development platform accordingly.
